Natural Gas Connection LLC, (“NGC,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) recognizes that you care about how information about you is used and shared. This notice of privacy practices (“Notice”) informs you of how information is collected through the Natural Gas Connection website located at www.naturalgasconnection.com(the “Site”), how we use the information and with whom we may share it. This Notice also describes the measures we take to safeguard the information we collect and your rights concerning our collection, use and disclosure of information about you. Information collected on or through this Site may be collected by us or by third-party service providers acting on our behalf.

For clarification, this Notice applies only to information collected through the Site and does not necessarily describe the ways in which we may collect or use information obtained from other websites we operate or other means (such as offline), or the collection, use and disclosure practices of any of NGC’s related entities or members. General Audience Website

This Site is not directed to individuals under the age of thirteen (13). We do not knowingly collect Personal Information (as defined below) from individuals under thirteen (13) years of age. No information should be submitted to or posted to the Site by visitors younger than thirteen (13) years old.

Information We Collect

Registration and Account Information:  When you purchase an item or register for an account with us, you choose to give us your personal information and are not anonymous to us. Account registration requires that you provide personal information such as name, billing address, shipping address, telephone number, email address, payment information (including payment card number or online payment service number) and related information. Personal information is associated with your account when you sign in as a registered user.

Information to Respond to Your Requests:  When you send us questions, sign up for notifications or make a purchase on the Site, we may communicate with you in the manner that you have selected regarding your order and schedule for installation services.  When you send us your questions you may provide additional personal information about yourself to enable us to provide an individualized response to your request. If you provided a phone number to receive text messages concerning your order(s) from the Site, you understand that messages, including, but not limited to, messages about order status and installation of the products ordered may be sent to that mobile number.  Details of how you can opt-out of receiving communications from us are detailed in “Your Choices, Preferences and Opt-Out” [LINK]below.

Information from Other Sources:  The information we collect may be combined with information from the records of our members and third-party service providers that we have acquired in accordance with the law.

Mobile Device Information: We may collect additional information from you if you access the Site through a mobile device (e.g., your unique device identifier, device’s operating system, IP address, mobile browser, and mobile carrier) and data you allow us to receive through the device settings you turn on (such as access to your photos).

Your Usage Information:  When you visit any portion of the Site, we collect usage information sent to us by your computer, mobile, or other access device that tells us how you are using the Site and what third party sites you visit from the Site (“usage information”).  This may include information on how you use the Site, such as content you view or engage with, features you use, searches and actions you take, users and collections you interact with, and what posts and content you view.

We may also collect password information from you when you log in, as well as computer and/or connection information. During some visits we may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, download errors, time spent on certain pages and page interaction information.

Our goal is to collect and use only that information that we think is required for our legitimate business interests, in order to operate the Site and to better understand your interests and improve your experience of using the Site.

How We May Use the Information We Collect

We use the information collected for a variety of purposes, including without limitation:

  1. for our business purposes, such as establishing and managing your customer account, providing products and services you request (such as processing orders, scheduling installations, repairs, and other services, and sending order and installation/repair date/time confirmations), processing and collecting payments and providing customer support, communicating with you and responding to your inquiries and requests, and to send you important administrative communications regarding the Site;
  2. to offer our products or services and/or the products or services of others to you, to contact you about selected products, services, and events and other information we think may interest you, or to communicate with you about special events, programs, surveys, and other offers or promotions;
  3. to evaluate and improve our business, including developing new products and services and analyzing the effectiveness of products, services, and the Site;
  4. to perform data analyses, including market and consumer search, trend analysis, demographic analysis, and financial analysis, which may be performed using data sets created or derived from the collected information;
  5. to diagnose technical and service problems or to administer the Site; and

We retain information as long as it is necessary and relevant for our operations in accordance with applicable law.

How We Share Information

Information collected on the Site may be shared as follows:

Members and Service Providers. We may engage third parties to provide certain services on our behalf including website development, order fulfillment, product installation and service, payment processing and collection, website hosting, data storage, administration of surveys, and administration of communications. Examples of our current service providers include Shopify and WordPress, but our service providers may change as we determine necessary to fulfill the needs of our business.

Other Third Parties. We may disclose information to: (i) protect or defend our interests and the legal rights or property of ourselves and our members; (ii) protect the rights, interests, and safety and security of users of our Site; (iii) protect against fraud or for risk management purposes; or (iv) comply with applicable law or legal process. In addition, if we sell all or substantially all of our business, or sell or transfer all or a material part of our assets, or are otherwise involved in a merger or transfer of all or a material part of our business or associated negotiations (including transfers made as part of insolvency or bankruptcy proceedings), we may transfer all information we have collected and stored, to the party or parties involved in the transaction as part of that transaction.

Your Choices, Preferences, and Opt-Out

Accessing and Modifying Your Personal Information. You may correct, update and delete the information contained in your online account through the “My Account” page on the Site or by contacting us in writing as specified in the “How to Contact Us” section below. Please note that we may retain some information for archival and record retention purposes.

Communication Preferences. You can control how and when you want to receive promotional, advertising and marketing emails/notifications from NGC by following instructions within the emails/notifications we send to you or by contacting us via email at contact webadmin@naturalgasconnection.com.  You may not opt-out of administrative emails or notifications for your registered account (for example, emails about your account, transactions or policy changes).

Cookies. You may be able to opt-out of the automatic collection via cookies of some information by referring to your web browser’s or mobile device’s options or settings menu and adjusting the settings to accept to reject cookies. You may also render some web beacons unusable by rejecting their associated cookies. Each browser is different, so check the “Help” menu of your browser to learn how to change your cookie preferences or visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org/ for more information. You can also refer to the “Help” menu of your browser to learn more about Web Beacons and your ability to disable them. Disabling or rejecting cookies may disable many of the features and functionality of the Site and/or services.

Google Analytics Solutions. Google provides users choices on how their data is collected by Google’s Analytics Solutions through an Opt-out Browser Add-on which can be located at: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en. By installing this Add-on, no information is being sent to Google Analytics.

Once you leave the Site, we suggest that you review the applicable privacy policy of the third-party website regarding, among other things, how they will handle any personal information they collect from you. We are not responsible for the content of third-party websites, your use of those websites, or the privacy practices of those websites.

Security and Data Retention

NGC takes commercially reasonable measures to secure and protect information transmitted via or stored on the Site. Despite these measures, we cannot guarantee the security of networks, servers and databases we operate or that are operated on our behalf or that the information you transmit to NGC over the Internet will not be intercepted, deleted or altered.

We reserve the right to retain information reasonably necessary to document our business activities and for archival and record retention purposes.
